Frankie Ranks has been around the block a few times when it comes to playing and performing but this is his first effort as a solo artist and singer/songwriter. Hailing from Rhode Island, Frankie Ranks has spent many years performing with local RI ska band The Agents which featured Frankie predominately on the saxophone.

On this debut EP “Game Changer”, Ranks is taking on the guitar, vocals and still keeping the saxophone alive as well, but the content here is Alt-country. Influenced by the sounds coming out of Texas country today, Frankie Ranks has set out on a new musical journey by writing and performing this Honky-tonk influenced country music.

The album was produced by Boston based musician Drew Townson and features performances by several RI and New England based musicians.
