Charlie Greene is a songwriter, vocalist, and musician who has made New England, USA his home since moving to the States. Born in Ireland in the town of Athlone, Charlie was blessed to have grown up listening to cutting edge Irish Rock music on the radio. From a young age, Charlie was never quite interested in the cover music scene, instead, he followed his passion of writing original music and performing the material with original bands in his hometown of Athlone and surrounding areas. Always a fan of American music, movies and the arts, Charlie ventured to Boston, Massachusetts where he would jam with local musicians. Eventually, Charlie teamed up with fellow Irish rockers from Boston resulting in the band “Less Than a Felony”, an aggressive rock trio that enjoyed a long run recording and performing throughout the East Coast. In 2021, Charlie followed his dream of starting a solo project allowing him to become more diverse musically to better suit his poetry / lyrical writing style. The result is Talk to The Old Man; a four-track EP with all material written and performed by Greene. The debut solo EP provides a nice sampling of what’s to come with a full-length CD already in the works. Talk to The Old Man was released in September of 2021 and is now available on leading social media entertainment platforms.
