Torch One For Tim: Remembering Tim Davis

On December 6th, Tim Davis would have turned 41 years old. If you didn’t know who he was, he was a beloved member of The Spot Underground Music family and a vital part of Providence’s music scene through his live music booking and support & enthusiasm towards the city’s numerous musicians and bands. Ever since he passed away in 2017, he’s still very much missed but the positive aura he cast is still being felt. To celebrate Tim’s birthday, Top 5 Fiend is teaming up with The Parlour to put on a party on the following night with a bunch of Tim’s favorite people. The lineup features:

All proceeds go to benefit New Urban Arts, an arts mentoring, creative making, community building art studio and gallery space for young people located on 705 Westminster Street in Providence. In fact, Tim sponsored a benefit for the organization through his booking entity Torch Alliance back in November of 2015.
